With the arrival of Phase 6, Warlock tanks now have access to a new customization that changes the appearance of their Metamorphosis form. Once a Warlock reaches level 60, they can speak to Fleuric in the Deadwind Pass near Karazhan to be teleported to a special instance. There, they will face off against Xalus Nihilus, the manifestation of their inner demon. Upon defeating this challenging boss, Warlocks will receive Zila Amanemodas, a toy stored in the Key Ring, which changes their Metamorphosis form to feature black and purple demonic wings while maintaining their normal character appearance.

Steps to Unlock Zila Amanemodas:

Unlock the Metamorphosis Warlock Rune from Phase 1 of WoW Classic Season of Discovery.
Reach level 60.
Find Fleuric in the Deadwind Pass near Karazhan and speak to him while in Metamorphosis form.
Teleport to the instanced version of Deadwind Pass and defeat Xalus Nihilus, The Demon Within.
Loot Zila Amanemodas, which can be used to alter the appearance of the Metamorphosis form. Zila Amanemodas is stored in the Key Ring.

Xalus Nihilus is a formidable boss, using abilities like Shadow Cleave, a frontal cone that can be interrupted with the Felhunter’s Spell Lock, a debilitating slow debuff that can be removed with the Felhunter’s Devour Magic, and powerful burst damage through Demonic Destruction, which a Voidwalker’s Sacrifice can help mitigate. Warlocks attempting this encounter will need to come prepared, and it may take several attempts to defeat Xalus Nihilus.

Season of Discovery still has one more phase to go before its conclusion. While the release date is yet to be announced, players can expect the Naxxramas raid and new instances in the Deadwind Pass and Eastern Plaguelands in the final phase, which is expected to launch early next year.
